What you are buying, what we promise, and what happens if it goes wrong.

You choose a Rosary and who should pray which part. We send each person a link. They record their prayers on their own phone. We join every recording into one continuous Rosary, level the voices so none is louder than another, add chapter markers, and give you a page to listen on and a file to keep.
Hear Us Pray is sold in the United States only. Payment must be made with a card issued in the United States.
This is not about who may pray. Anybody, anywhere, can be invited to record a prayer, and a finished Rosary can be shared with family in any country. It is the purchase that is limited, because selling a digital product into other countries brings tax obligations we are not yet set up to meet properly, and we would rather say so than collect money we cannot account for correctly.
We expect this to change. If you are outside the United States and would like to buy one, write to hello@hearuspray.com and tell us where you are. It is the best evidence we could have for where to go next.
Creating a Rosary, inviting people, collecting recordings and hearing a preview are all free.
You pay once to unlock the finished Rosary. The price is shown before you pay and is charged in United States dollars. There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind.
A preview covers whole finished sections from the beginning, so it is a genuine sample rather than the whole thing. Everyone who recorded can keep their own part at no cost, whether or not the Rosary is ever bought.
Fourteen days, no reason needed. Write to hello@hearuspray.com and we will refund the payment in full.
We would rather refund you than have you unhappy with something bought at a difficult time. If a Rosary fails to assemble properly, or a recording is unusable through a fault of ours, tell us at any time and we will fix it or refund you regardless of how long it has been.
This is worth being clear about, because more than one person is involved.
Keeps their own recording. Recording a prayer does not give it away. By agreeing before they record, a contributor permits their recording to be included in that Rosary, and permits the buyer to keep it and share it with family and friends. Nothing more.
Owns the finished Rosary as an assembled recording, and may keep it, play it, copy it and share it privately for as long as they like. It does not expire.
Claim nothing. We do not use recordings for advertising, for demonstrations, on our own website, or to train anything. If we ever wanted to use a recording to show what the service does, we would ask every person on it first.
Publish or broadcast a recording of somebody praying without their permission, or sell it. A family Rosary is a private thing.
You must be eighteen or over to make an account, to buy a Rosary, or to agree to these terms. You are entering a contract and paying for something.
Hear Us Pray is a general audience service and is not intended for children under thirteen. Anybody who records must be thirteen or over, whether they are recording themselves or somebody is holding the phone for them.
Nothing in the service asks a person's age, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child under thirteen. If you believe one has been recorded, write to us and we will delete the recording.
You need an account to build and buy a Rosary. Contributors do not: they use a link.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us if you think somebody else has got into your account.
You can close your account at any time by writing to us, and we will remove what we hold. See the privacy page for what that involves.
A link is a key. Anybody holding one can record against that invitation, so send it to the person you meant to send it to and not to a group.
You can cancel an invitation at any time, and the link stops working.
You decide who gets a link, and who records in person on your own device. Making sure the people you invite meet the age requirement above is yours to do, because you are the one who knows who they are.
Do not use this service to record anybody without their knowledge, to record anything other than the prayers you were asked for, or to send invitations to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
We may remove a recording or close an account that is used this way. If we close an account for this reason we will still refund anything paid for a Rosary that was not delivered.
We do our best to keep the service working and your recordings safe, and we keep copies. But we are a small operation and we will not promise you something we cannot guarantee.
We cannot promise the service will never be unavailable, that a recording made on any particular phone will be of any particular quality, or that a relative will actually record their part.
If we lose a recording through our own fault, we will tell you, and refund you. We cannot recreate a voice, and we will not pretend otherwise. That is the honest limit of what we can offer, and it is why we keep backups and why a contributor keeps their own copy.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
If we ever have to shut the service down, we will give buyers at least sixty days' notice and a way to download everything they have before it closes.
If we change them we will change the date at the top, and email buyers before a material change takes effect. A change never applies backwards to a Rosary already bought.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States.
